Tel-Aviv, April 16th, 2023 – AiOmed, a leading developer of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for medical patient monitoring, announced the successful completion of a proof-of-concept (POC) of its groundbreaking technology designed to prevent adverse clinical outcomes, hospital admissions, and re-admissions of elders in long-term care facilities and reduce workload and cost of care. The POC at the Alzheimer’s medical center and in the Senior Home skilled nursing facility yielded highly promising results.

The AiOmed system is designed to automate daily processes and monitor multiple medical and physiological parameters in real-time, supporting continuous and proactive care to patients. Through advanced AI algorithms and machine learning, the system can predict and alert healthcare providers to potential risks and clinical conditions that may lead to deterioration, allowing for early intervention and improving patient outcomes. The system continuously collects and analyzes data from a range of sources, and uses this information to create a comprehensive patient profile, which is continuously updated as new data becomes available. Based on this profile the system can identify trends and patterns that may indicate a risk of clinical conditions and automatically generates an alert.

By automating daily processes and continuously monitoring and analyzing patients’ data the system enables healthcare providers to focus on delivering high-quality care and improving patients’ outcomes. It also allows efficient use of resources, ultimately leading to the reduction of workload and cost of care.

“We are thrilled with the results of the POC, which validated the efficiency of our technology”, said Keren Lipshitz, CEO of AiOmed.  “Our solution represents a significant breakthrough in the field of long-term care and has the potential of transforming the way healthcare to geriatric elders is delivered”.

The POC’s success was due in part to the close collaboration between AiOmed, its design partners, and advisory board members who provided invaluable insights and expertise through the process.

“AiOmed is designed for the complex and multifaced nature of geriatric care and seamlessly integrated into our workflow”, said Nitai Eliash, CEO of the Alzheimer’s medical center. “Following the success of the first POC we have extended the deployment of the system and we look forward to continuing our support in AiOmed in its journey to bring innovation to patients around the world”.

AiOmed is now preparing to deploy its technology in leading long-term care institutes in the US. The company will also embark on a seed financing round on June 2023 to support the platform development, obtain regulatory approval for its machine-learning based algorithms and drive the US market development.
